Our Aqua Training facilities are second to none. We are the only equestrian centre in Luxembourg to offer a complete package to maintain a self perpetuating balance and therefore true wellness.
Our Equine Therapy & Wellness Center was created out of a passion and a love for horses. Our Center is a Conditioning & Rehab facility offering one of a kind, one on one day & night care for all your horses needs.
Aqua Training
Our highly acclaimed Aqua Trainer is the centerpiece for our Training & Wellness Program. The horses walk during treatment at different depths and variable speed under constant observation. The aim of the training or the rehabilitation of sport horses is to either maintain, regenerate or improve the body in its typical features and services.
Movement in water is an optimal muscle and fitness training because gravity is suspended in water and is taking away weight from muscles and joints. Water offers gentle resistance to build strength, which stimulates a faster movement. The water cools stressed muscles and joints and provides a relaxing massage.
Application in Therapy:
- Individual adjustable water level up de 130 cm.
- Variable speed up to 15 km/h.
- Shorten the convalescence after injuries and diseases.

Spa
The spa uses simple cold water, salt/mineral concentration & aeration to aid your horse aquatic therapeutic condition. The water is cooled down to 3 °C.
The spa therapy aids in the rehabilitation of lower leg injuries, hoof/foot abcess issues or can be used as a preventative therapy for tendon & ligament injuries, arthritis, laminitis, infection, scratches, sores shins & poor hoof growth.
Vibration Floor
Using the vibration plate, blood circulation is improved without stress, which accelerated rehabilitation after injuries.
The vibration relaxes the muscles before training. With this treatment and unlike traditional running-in, even deeper layers of muscles are being warmed up. Using the Vibration Floor after training massages the muscles and relaxes the horse.
The vibration floor also has a positive effect on the digestive system of the horse and is therefore also suitable for colic-prone horses.

Massage & Electromagnetic Field Therapy
Electromagnetic therapy has gained widespread fame because of its ability to stimulate bone repair and healing of non-union fractures. It is also beneficial in treating arthritis, muscle injury or pain, inflammation and soft-tissue injuries or range-of-motion limitations.
Massage Therapy is widely used for the purpose of increasing circulation, relaxing muscle spasms, relieving tension, enhancing muscle tone, and increasing range of motion in high performance horses.
The Combi Extend Plus System from Activomed that we use covers the most important parts of the horses’ body, from neck and shoulder to the muscle system of the back. We can add several components like the massage/magnetic hoof boots or the leg wraps.

Meeschhaff has 2 solariums, one freely available in the wash rooms, and one in our Wellness Centre.
Water Treadmill
Our water treadmill ensures increase cardiovascular activity, stride length, muscle tone and strength of your horse.
Vibration Floor
Our vibration floor promotes the development of muscle tone and bone density and is a proven and highly effective therapy. It can be used to warm up the horse before work or relax the muscles afterwards.
